Refund policy
Returns We have a 30-day return policy. You have 30 days after receiving your order to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be uncut, unmodified, and in its original packaging. You will also need proof of purchase.
Cut panels cannot be returned or exchanged. Once the fabric has been cut, the sale is final. Measure your window frame before cutting, not the glass. If you are unsure which size to order, contact us before you buy at support@getblackoutsleep.com.
To start a return, contact us at support@getblackoutsleep.com. Do not send items back without first requesting a return — unrequested returns will not be accepted.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
Odor disclosure The silver reflective coating may produce a mild odor when first unboxed. This is a normal characteristic of the thermal coating and fully resolves within 24–72 hours of airing out. This is disclosed prior to purchase and does not constitute a defect. Returns based solely on initial odor will not be accepted.
Damages and issues Inspect your order upon receipt. If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us immediately at support@getblackoutsleep.com and we will make it right.
Non-returnable items Cut or modified panels cannot be returned under any circumstances. We also do not accept returns on gift cards.
Exchanges To exchange an item, return the original order once accepted and place a new order separately. Cut panels are not eligible for exchange.
European Union — 14-day cooling off period If your order is shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days for any reason, without justification. The item must be uncut, unmodified, and in its original packaging. Proof of purchase is required.
Refunds Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the outcome. If approved, the refund is processed to your original payment method within 10 business days. Bank processing times may add additional days. If more than 15 business days have passed since approval, contact us at support@getblackoutsleep.com.
